I6/II Abschied + Grüss - Love, Michael, Eve, Luzifer
This work, scored for 2 performers, 3 flutes, 2 clarinets, dancer and electronics was written in 2011 and premiered on Nutshuis, Den Haag, Netherlands, at september 11th 2011, as part of the Stockhausen serves 10 Years of Sodom and Gomorra concert by Acid Police Noise Ensemble and Anonymous Stateless Imigrants. It's divided in 2 movements:
1 - Abschied: played in the entrance of the concert hall, it consists of contact microphones placed on plates with brains, lungs, guts, etc of animals. Two performers improvise with it, cutting the meat, using knifes, forks, etc. These sounds must be recorded and played as the electronic track for the Grüss. 2 - Grüss: played after the concert, the musicians are spread around the audience, with food and drinks being given at certain points of the score. A dancer has an interactive part with the audience, and the recording of the Abschied becomes the electronic part of this movement. |
